Baby Jake turned six months old at 5:53 pm this afternoon! I can't believe that he is half way to diving into his one year old birthday cake! He woke up all smiles this morning and is still going right now... I hear him moving around in his bed even though the lights are out, his music is on and the vaporizer is going. He always tries to get every last minute of play time out of the day before he falls fast asleep. We had a great day with Jakey today! I stayed home this morning with little man and played for an extra hour or so. He usually gets to Nana's house (his favorite babysitter during the week) about 8:45 to 9:00, but today we rolled in around 10:15. Tonight, Daddy enjoyed hanging out with Jake and their friends Ryan and his son Brady. Mommy had a girls night out at Bunco with her Sunday School friends. Jon and I sure enjoyed our special moments with Jakey today, especially because it was his 6 month birthday! I snapped a few pictures today of Jake practicing some crawling techniques. I think that he was trying so hard to give me and Jon a surprise and take off crawling. Don't worry Jake... you are just around the corner from being mobil... which you have wanted to be since the day you were born. Jacob's legs never ever stop moving. His daddy tells him that with as much exercise as he gives his legs he hopes that he is going to be a very fast runner, swimmer or very high jumper. Haha... daddy is already thinking about sports.... don't they all! This was a wonderful day! Thank you Lord for blessing us with such a wonderful son!

It Worked!
OK, so I got the picture on there... in the middle of my paragraph instead of below it, but it there! Thanks Rach!
I'm Learing Something New Every Day
Today one of my friends helped me figure out that there is a way to post a picture below the words instead of on the side of the page. I attempted to do that yesterday when I blogged, but all my pictures ended up down the side. I am trying hard to learn about this stuff, because I am going to be keeping up me and my mom's business blog too, which I haven't worked on yet but will soon.
Our business is Chameleons at Shilo Cabinets. My parents have owned a custom cabinet shop for almost 38 years now. I have worked there for almost 5 years as the bookkeeper. However, my mom and I are adventuring out in new areas these days. We have become the Chameleons part of Shilo Cabinets. We are selling decorative cabinet hardware, custom painted frames, prefinished frames that we put together (like Hobby Lobby does), Framed Dry Erase Boards ( I call them marker boards)... those are really fun... I have one in my utility room and we are also selling all kinds of beautiful oil painted canvases! You should check our blog out... in a few weeks when I get it up and going! Don't worry... I'll blog about my new blog when the time comes. We also have a web site that is 99.99% done. It is http://www.chameleonsatshilocabinets.com/ and is going to be pretty fun when it's completed, hopefully right around the corner. Help me get our business up and going! Check out what we have and spread the word!
OK... since my main motive of blogging tonight was to see if I could post a picture in the right place... I'm going to go ahead and try it. I'll see what I can do..... wish me luck!

My Baby is Almost 6 Months Old!
I can't believe that this next Tuesday, October 6, Jacob will be six months old! Time has gone by so fast. We have had some great memories with our little man... I can't wait to make more and more! Jake has conquered rolling over, sitting up, balancing on his hands and feet while rocking back and forth (he wants to be mobil so bad... he will be soon... I can tell). He is eating peas, green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and rice cereal now... well only peas sometimes... those are not his favorites. And the most exciting... saying mama! Only a few times a week, but that works for me! I am pretty proud of all his big boy accomplishments. It is soooo fun being Jakey's mommy! He makes me smile and laugh every second of the day! Here are some pictures of Jake from newborn to now!
